Conditions for using this payment method.
We currently accept paypal as a method of payment for goods or services via this website. We will however only ship to a PayPal confirmed address. This needs to also match the address entered on the shipping page of our website. Orders that do not meet this criteria will be cancelled as current PayPal policies do not cover transactions where shipping is not to a confirmed address. Promotional Pre-Orders
Conditions of Pre-orders
When adding Pre-order products online, our system will automatically take the funds from your account at the time of purchase. This is not necessary and will have no bearing on how quickly we dispatch your order. Orders may be taken over the phone on 01782 634 580. Please be aware that on the receipt and on the product page there may be a different date stating an expected arrival date, this is subject to constant review. We will contact you upon arrival of the product and update you with an expected delivery date. Delivery charges apply to all Pre-Orders. 1st Cameras will only take a pre-orders against an agreed allocation expected from the supplier and will stop taking orders once the allocation has been sold. We will never knowingly oversell the product. We will endeavour to deliver as close to the launch date as possible, however, should the supplier fail to deliver on time, or part deliver our allocation, we will deliver to customers in strict chronological order, which may be after launch date. We cannot be held responsible should the supplier delay the release of the product. Should this happen, we will keep you informed and either deliver on the revised date, or offer you a refund.
Delivery
Orders within mainland UK.
Please note that customers should not make bookings or arrange any kind of work that require any products that they are purchasing from us until they have received the products in full and in good working condition. We can not be held responsible in any way, form or manner for any lost revenue / custom due to late or non delivery of goods. We do not have any direct control over delivery as this is done by third party courier and therefore the maximum compensation we are able to give for any problems is FREE delivery.
Cancellation
You have the right to cancel your order with us, in accordance with Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. The period in which you can exercise that right is 7 working days beginning the day after your goods are received. The unused goods must be returned, at the customer's expense, within the 7 days of the notice to cancel. We reserve the right to have the goods inspected by a technician prior to replacement or refund. Should you cancel your order within the cooling off period we will issue you a full refund for the price you paid for the item.
Damaged Goods
In the unlikely event your order is damaged in transit please contact us immediately on 01782 634580. Please retain the original packaging for returning your order. We will arrange for a prompt replacement or refund, whichever is your preference. We will require the return of the faulty item prior to the dispatch of the replacement if deemed necessary.
Faulty Goods
If you suspect a fault with your product please contact us immediately. If there is an obvious defect and/or under the manufacturers recommendation it needs to be returned, please notify us and return the goods within the 14 days of receipt. Within 14 days of purchase, if your goods are faulty we will offer a prompt replacement of the relevant components or if you prefer a full refund. This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse. We must be notified of the fault within 14 days of purchase and proof of purchase MUST be provided. If your purchase develops a fault after 14 days and within its 12 month guarantee we will arrange to repair and return the product to you free of charge. After 14 days you can also return your faulty goods directly to the manufacturer for repair providing them with proof of purchase. Failure to do so renders the 12 month guarantee invalid and no repair will be made. Please note it may take up to 4 weeks for repairs to be undertaken, depending on the manufacturer and complexity of the problem. In cases where a replacement product is required, we will require the return of the faulty item prior to the dispatch of the replacement.
Returning Goods
If you return your goods within the 7 days cooling (7 days after having received the parcels) period, we will exchange it or refund your money. In order to exercise your rights to return the good you must send a notice in a durable form of your intention to be refunded or to be exchanged with another item. It will take between 7 and 10 days to process your return, but we will do our best to reduce this time. However, should you have filled in the Return Merchandise Authorization form the process will be dealt as promptly as possible.
We reserve the right to deem the goods second-hand and make you an appropriate offer should any items not be returned in their entirety or in an AS NEW condition outside the 7 working days after receipt of the parcel. Proof of purchase must be provided. Please note that software packages may only be returned unopened. Any refund outside the 7 days period made will be subject to a minimum 5%/£5 (whichever is the greater) re-stocking fee. Please package any returned items carefully and return them to 1st Cameras, 6/7 Lancaster Buildings, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffs. ST5 1PG, for your own protection, via a recorded and insured method of carriage. Royal Mail Special/Recorded Delivery is recommended. The cost of returned items is the responsibility of the customer unless the goods are found to be faulty or delivered to you in error. A maximum of £7 can be credited towards any delivery costs incurred. A technical diagnostic examination may be carried out prior to any replacement or refund. It is your responsibility to check your consignment, if any incorrect goods are supplied you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. After this period mistakes cannot be rectified.

All products come with an absolutely free 12 months in house extended warranty, where our in-house facilities are able to process all returns for a quick and efficient all round service.
Availability of Goods
While all care is taken to ensure appropriate stock levels, all products, prices and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or changed at anytime without prior notice. If we do not supply the goods for any reason you will be notified and no charge will be taken. 1st Cameras will not be responsible for compensating you for any losses you may suffer if goods are not supplied, deemed faulty, damaged in transit or not of a kind foreseeable by the supplier. 1st Cameras agrees to supply and you agree to purchase goods subject to these terms and conditions, which shall supersede any terms and conditions on any purchase order or document that you submit to 1st Cameras. These terms and conditions supersede and take precedence over any previous terms and conditions. Content listed online shall also be deemed only as an invitation to treat and do not constitute an offer. All goods remain property of 1st Cameras until full and final payment has been received. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and each party agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
