IMPORTANT SIGMA NEWS.
Possible problem with three lenses
SIGMA Japan have indicated that there is a small potential problem with some OS (stabilised tele-zoom) SIGMA lenses that have been produced and shipped within the past few months. Whilst we haven’t so far seen any evidence of faulty lenses we are asking our customers to check their stocks of the following 3 SIGMA lenses within the serial number ranges indicated.
SIGMA 50-500mm f/5-6.3 EX DG OS HSM with serial numbers between 10633051 and 10972000
SIGMA 120-400mm f/4-5.6 DG OS HSM with serial numbers between 10574001 and 10972000
SIGMA 150-500mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM with serial numbers between 10674301 and 10972000
We are asking consumers to check any SIGMA lenses of the type and serial number range indicated above that they’ve bought recently and for them to physically check and ascertain if their lens exhibits a problem with the OS system. If they have any doubts at all they are being asked to contact SIGMA UK Head Office on 01707 376 795 and they will – at no charge to the customer – arrange collection, check the product and if appropriate remedy any problem - and then return to their home address asap.

We will be performing server upgrades to our FTP service on Saturday 8th August from 6pm. We anticipate the service being back online no later than sunday 6pm. Should you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact us. Our online print service and email systems will remain unchanged.

We have now signed up with TWITTER, with regular updates being posted to keep you updated on the latest news and promotions here at 1st cameras.
We have today updated our ONLINE PRINT SERVICE so that it now runs via our pro lab service. This allows you the convenience of being able to upload at any time of day, make ammendments if required, complete and then pay for your order all from your home computer. You are still able to send us your images by FTP, Post or in Person. We're just making life a little easier :-)
