X-Rite 530 Portable Colour Reflection Spectrodensitometer - The next generation of colour control for the pressroom. The X-Rite 530 Spectrodensitometer combines full spectral data, colorimetry and densitometry functions into a single unit. For printers who print special and process colours, the 530 is an ideal choice.

The 530 can store the unique spectral identity of up to 24 individual reference colours; then, during the production run, you can measure any colour and the 530 will automatically compare a sample reading to the closest reference in your reference library, allowing you to quickly identify and accurately reproduce colours. When used in conjunction with external databases such as PANTONE® Digital Library or ColorMail® Express (both included), the 530 will not only show you the match, but the differences between the closest 16 colours. Up to 1400 total references can be stored in the 530’s internal database.

In addition to traditional functions for 4-color jobs, the 530 offers on-the-fly to colorimetry functions such as L*a*b,* Yxy, and L*C*h° for when you need quality control for pastels, Hi-Fi, PANTONE® and other special colours
